We are a husband and wife Real Estate Team and we live, work, and play in Turlock, sunny California, USA! Turlock means family, friends, and home. This is where we work, raise our children, and engage in a community that continually gives back. Turlock is located in the heart of the valley, not far from fabulous locales such as Yosemite, San Francisco, the Central Coast, and Lake Tahoe. Our Real Estate market envelops Stanislaus County, as well as Merced County, and we reach beyond those limits into San Joaquin. Nellie studied English Literature and has a Bachelor's degree in English from California State University Stanislaus. She has been a Realtor since 1991, and is a CDPE. Her passion is consulting her clients in the areas of home style, organization and staging. She offers our Listing Clients complimentary staging consulations upon request. When working with buyers, Nellie loves to discover a good space and abode for her clients, as she sees the potential in everything and loves to work with her clients to find an environment that will not only meet their functional needs but reflect their personal aesthetic. John's business savvy and comprehensive knowledge of the local market, and understanding of public policy is due to his dual Bachelor's degree in Communications and Political Science from California State University Stanislaus. He spent many years working in the state legislature, as well as the U.S. House of Representatives before delving into Real Estate. He's been a Realtor since 1988 with a Broker's license since 1993, and he's been actively involved in local government since 1992, first as a council member, and now as Mayor. Our former Broker, Bob Endsley instilled in us the ethic "Service with Integrity" back in 1993, when we first joined the Endsley and Associates Real Estate Brokerage, and now merged with Century 21 M&M and Associates. This ethos has served us well throughout our careers, as we've developed many lasting friendships through our business. This is one of the main reasons we love what we do. Serving others to the best of our ability and selling the community we love! People sometimes wonder how we can work together and how we've managed to work together for so long. Our current Broker, Larry Matos, said it best ...it's chemistry. It's been that since we first met ...having been introduced by our Century 21 M&M President, John Melo, back in 1991. It was chemistry that drew us together in love and in business. Because we are both in this industry, we understand the demands and expectations better than anyone else. We bring our discourse home, and enjoy brainstorming and dialoguing about how to continually improve what we do. Of course ...we bicker, but overall ...we have a great time together nurturing this thing that we seem to do very well together! We each have strengths and weaknesses that complement each other symbiotically ...it just works! We are both passionate about our community. John is currently serving as Mayor of Turlock, and previously served as council member, as well as being a Rotarian for over 20 years. Nellie is equally committed to serving, and serves on several local boards, including Turlock Youth Performing Arts, Carnegie Arts Center Foundation, and Turlock Farmers Market, and Turlock Film Commission. |
